Russian fighter jets attacked Aleppo


Russian warplanes attacked areas under rebel control in the north of Aleppo on Saturday (1/10).

Russia previously reported on Friday would send more fighter jets to Syria to improve air attacks. While the United States has said it is still seeking a diplomatic resolution.

The latest attacks are part of Russia's support the Syrian government offensive to retake rebel-held Aleppo and destroyed the last stronghold of the revolt against Syrian President Bashar al-Assad that began to burst in 2011. 

Air strikes on Saturday to focus on the main supply lines to areas under rebel control - the district Cantello and fact - while the battle rages in Suleiman al-Halabi, a district nearby, the path leading to the north of the Old City of Aleppo.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a group based in the UK and monitor the war, reported a terrific onslaught by government forces and fighting in Suleiman al-Halabi.

Observers said warplanes attacked a field hospital in the district of al Sakhour rebel bombed for the second time. The hospital is one of four medical facilities were targeted in recent days. 

The attack was claimed at least one life and injured several people and caused the hospital did not work, he said. Hundreds of people have died in the bombing and hundreds more injured. There is little access to care in hospitals due to lack of basic supplies.
