US Secretary of State John Kerry said that all options remain open for the US and its allies in Syria, but the United States and Europe are not interested in holding military action although Russia has refused to resign.
In London, Sunday (16/10), Kerry held talks with British counterpart Boris Johnson, a day after meeting Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and other top diplomat in Switzerland.
Kerry said that no one should "set fire" in a civil war or pitting two superpowers. Kerry clearly frustrated over what is happening in Syria - the refugee crisis, the massacre of civilians in Aleppo, the Russian military action on the part of the Assad regime, the ceasefire that failed and America's inability to stop the bloodshed.
Kerry warned of sanctions against Russia and Syria about the situation in Aleppo. He also said the talks Saturday in Switzerland resulted in "some ideas that need to be followed up" without elaborate further.
Also Sunday, Turkish Foreign Minister announced, which supported Syrian rebels seize Turkey Dabiq, the city in northern Syria are important symbolically, from the hands of the Islamic State (ISIS).
