Manager of Al Quds hospital, where the patient is treated, Hamza Khatib said that the pieces of clothing from the patient are also being examined to ascertain the type of gas used. The gas is believed to be chlorine.
"So far four people have died of gas poisoning and 55 were injured. We are still checking the type of gas used as evidence," said Khatib told Reuters on Thursday (11/8).
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (HAM), said gas was dropped from a helicopter in the area of Seif Al Dawla and Zubdiya. Two areas in Aleppo are controlled by the rebels.
