Erdogan Admits Intelligence Conceded, New coup d'etat Could Happen

ANKARA - Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan acknowledged that Turkish intelligence conceded that occur military coup attempt that killed hundreds of people. Erdogan also did not deny a new coup could happen, but it was not easy.

Erdogan recognition came in an interview with Reuters. "We are more vigilant," he said related to the possibility of a new coup.

"It is clear that there are significant gaps and shortcomings in our intelligence, there is no point in trying to hide or deny it. I told the head of national intelligence, "said Erdogan in his palace in Ankara, reported on Friday (22/07/2016).

Erdogan accused the charismatic cleric Fethullah Gulen-Turks living in the United States and the former allies-as masterminds of a military coup attempt on Friday night last week. After the coup, Erdogan regime crackdown by arresting and fired up to around 60 thousand people from the military, police, judges, civil servants up to the teachers to be involved and support the coup.

After the coup failed, Erdogan began restructuring the military, by the Supreme Military Council (YAS) as a regulatory agency. According to Erdogan that restructuring would make the Turkish military obtained "fresh blood" back.

"They all work together for what might be done, and in a very short amount of new structures will emerge. With this new structure, I believe the military will get fresh blood, "said Erdogan.

"After all that has happened, I think they now need to draw a very important lesson. It is an ongoing process, we will never stop, we will continue to very actively, we have a plan, "added the President Erdogan.
